Top T gives away a two bedroom house to a Limpopo resident
On November 26, Top T handed over a fully refurbished two bedroom house to a mother of three in Seshego Zone 5.
LIMPOPO – Top T that sells anything you could possibly need to furnish your home, handed over a fully refurbished house to Kegomoditswe Koikoi.
Every year Top T hosts a competition called Woza Ekhaya win a home competition where entrants can win a home that is fully renovated with Top T products.
Koikoi from Taung who is a mother of three boys was delighted as she received the house.
An overjoyed Koikoi said at first she didn’t believe it when she received the call to tell her that she had won a house in a competition.
“Last December I went to Top T to buy renovating items, I was told about the Woza Ekhaya competition, I completed the entry form but still thought I would never win. Then, a few months later, I received a call saying that I was one of the three finalists who had been shortlisted. Since then it had been a while and I initially suspected it to be a scam.”
Koikoi said it was only when she got another call to tell her she won a house that is fully renovated with an extra package of two backrooms, that the competition felt real.
Top T regional leader Thatho Manaka and organiser of the handover Portia Mathe said the Woza Ekhaya competition is all about Top T giving back to the community.
“Each year we choose two winners to win a home. To enter the competition, one must spend R3 000 or more in-store. Three finalists are drawn and then a winner is selected through a random draw from two provinces, ” says Manaka.
Koikoi added that Top T is the best and not only because she won a house but because she always relies on them for good quality household items at affordable prices.
The house is valued at R550 000 and Top T furnished the house, including labour at an additional R200 000.
