POLOKWANE – Last Thursday, the 21 men of the Rotary Club of Pietersburg 100 treated the club’s 22 female members to a three-course gourmet meal at Victoria Place Guesthouse.

Dressed in formal attire as the waiters of the evening, the men did their utmost best to serve the women their beverages, and food so excellently prepared, in the intimate auditorium where the elegantly dressed members sat down to enjoy a meal and a live musical performance.

“The aim was to provide for them an extra special experience of luxury, just to say ‘thank you’ for all of the projects they do for the club,” said president, Orrie Baragwanath.

“The men are going to eat just regular meals and are buying their own drinks,” he added in a cheerful tone.
