Cappies’ learners take advantage of Matric dance expo

The expo brought different service providers under one roof to prepare the Gr 12 learners for their matric farewell by giving learners the opportunity to ask questions and compare prices.

POLOKWANE – On August 10, Capricorn High School hosted a matric dance expo at the school gym.

The expo brought different service providers with the expertise together to get the Gr 12 learners ready for the matric dance under one roof, giving learners the opportunity to ask questions and compare prices.

The learners took full advantage of this and spent the afternoon interacting and getting to know the work of industry professionals.

Review spoke to learners to find out what their thoughts are about having the expo that saved them the time to shop around. Here is what they had to say;

Theto Mathekgane: It was great because it gave us an opportunity to know more about the businesses that are here so that we know exactly which one to work with.
Bontle Kgabi: It has helped me a lot because I haven’t started planning for my matric dance. It’s a load off for both myself and my parents.
Mosudi Lekota: It feels good to be able to shop around for different looks. Them coming to us is going to save us the time to go around looking for their services.
Makhanani Hlungwani: This expo has made things easy for us. Even though it is expensive, I know where to go for people we can trust.
Taberah Katjedi: The school is considering us. We can now spend more time focusing on school work. The 20% discount that they are giving us will also go a long way.
