Cooler temperatures for Polokwane by the weekend

Residents can expect hot and humid conditions from Monday to Thursday with a drop in temperature and an 84% chance of rain expected on Friday.

POLOKWANE – With a chilly start to Monday morning, residents in the city can expect a break from the ongoing excessive heat this week.

According to AccuWeather’s forecast, temperatures will cool towards the weekend with maximum highs of between 33°C and 24°C expected this week.

Residents can expect hot and humid conditions from Monday to Thursday with a drop in temperature expected on Friday.

Thundershowers are also expected on Thursday morning with a 40% chance of rain.

The weekend will bring mild and cool conditions with occasional rain expected.

Majority of the rain is expected on Friday with an 84% chance of showers and a thunderstorm, while Saturday and Sunday will see a 25% and 41% chance of rain respectively.

Partly cloudy conditions will persist throughout the week, while minimum temperatures will range from 16°C to 18°C.
