POLOKWANE – PEMPS hosted a career day for their Gr 7 learners on October 11 as part of their life orientation content.
The event gave the learners the chance to dress up as their envisioned occupations and conduct research on those careers.
Learners had to present their career options detailing possible tertiary institutions they could study at, the number of years they would need to study to obtain their qualification, the requirements for the qualification, and what duties they would be expected to perform in their roles.

“I chose to be forensic pathologist because of my fascination with the science behind death and connections to uncovering the truth,” said Mpai Seabe.
Some of the learners highlighted that they were inspired by their parents to follow the careers they pursued on the day.
