PEPPS’ Gr 9s shine as entrepreneurs

PEPPS Polokwane hosted its final Entrepreneur's Day, where Gr 9 learners gained hands-on experience running a business and selling food.

POLOKWANE – PEPPS Polokwane marked its final entrepreneur’s day of the year last Monday, offering Gr 9 learners a hands-on experience in running a business.

The event focused on teaching key entrepreneurial skills such as teamwork, customer service, and innovation by giving students the opportunity to sell various food items.

Erin Altenroxel, one of the participants, shared her excitement: “Running a business is not as easy as it looks, but it teaches you so much, like working with different people and handling both the good and bad sides of business. It’s especially exciting to sell food to the little ones.”

Entrepreneur’s day is an essential part of the school’s curriculum, giving learners who aspire to enter the business world a look at how things are done.
