Heroic Women hosted a transformative conference in Thohoyandou, empowering women to tackle challenges and support each other.
LIMPOPO – Heroic Women hosted a transformative Women’s Conference at La Mammie Suite in Itsani village recently, encouraging women to tackle challenges and support each other.
The event, themed ‘Beautifully Rooted’, brought together women from diverse backgrounds to inspire personal growth and strengthen their communities.
Chairperson Thonifho Mudau said such gatherings are important and that women play a vital role in nurturing society.
Topics such as mental health, personal branding, female sexual health, and legal matters took centre stage, with speakers encouraging guests to rediscover their identity, combat daily challenges, and lead their families effectively.
Mudau was excited about the conference, describing it as inspiring and energising.
“The atmosphere was incredibly supportive and uplifting. I left feeling refreshed and connected,” she said.
The event met its objectives, providing a platform for learning, networking, and empowerment.
Mudau spoke of the organisation’s past success with a youth conference aimed at educating young people about living a drug-free lifestyle, and she said she is excited about their future initiatives.
