Thohoyandou author releases inspirational marriage book

Prophetess Fhatuwani Gheyt Chipuke releases debut book offering insights on building strong, fulfilling relationships.

LIMPOPO – Prophetess and founder of Luchema Books, Fhatuwani Gheyt Chipuke, has released her first marriage counselling book, ‘Joyful Marriage Vol 1’.

Based in Sibasa Miluwani unit C near Thohoyandou in Vhembe, Chipuke has been passionate about writing since childhood, composing stories and biblical quotes.

Speaking about her journey, she explained that her book marks the beginning of her professional writing career.

“That’s why I founded Luchema Books, where I serve as managing director. My background in faith has been my biggest motivation. I want people to know the greatness of God, but I also enjoy writing about love, Christianity, and marriage. Through this book, I share personal experiences and divine insights to inspire strong, fulfilling relationships,” she said.

Chipuke’s writing aims to inspire others to live with purpose, faith, and joy.

“In ‘Joyful Marriage’, I explore the four core factors of a successful marriage: love, effective communication, shared goals and values, and gratitude. The book reflects my own life journey with honesty and depth. As a woman of faith and an entrepreneur, I’ve learned that marriage is a sacred institution that requires effort and commitment. Through my ministry and writing, I hope to offer hope and inspire people to unlock their potential and live joyfully. I firmly believe that with God, all things are possible, and I am living proof of that truth,” she said.

She cited renowned author TD Jakes as a major inspiration, adding, “I’ve been writing since primary school – stories and poems – but I struggled with traditional publishers. That experience led me to co-found Luchema Books with my father, Chief Chester Chipuke. For me, writing is a calling. It’s about making an impact on people’s lives. One of my dreams is to see my books adapted into movies or dramas.”

Chipuke expressed gratitude for the support she has received along the way. “My family has been incredibly supportive, especially my husband, who serves as the publisher under Luchema Books. I’ve also received encouragement from my church community. Most importantly, my readers have made a meaningful contribution to my work. Their support means the world to me,” she said.

Acknowledging the challenges of the publishing industry, Chipuke noted, “One of the biggest obstacles for new or faith-based writers is getting publishers and distributors to accept their manuscripts. That’s why I’m committed to growing Luchema Books into a platform that helps other writers share their stories with the world.”
