Moana’s Island Kitchen hosts kids’ cooking at Mall of the North

Children cook up a storm at Moana's Island Kitchen event at Mall of the North this festive season.

POLOKWANE – To add something extra special to the festive season, the young ones are invited to a delicious cooking experience at Moana’s Island Kitchen event at Mall of the North.

The event is taking place from December 16-24 with different activities each day, such as the Hula burger delight, Moana’s magic cupcakes, Luau chicken kebabs, grandma Tala’s rainbow waffles and a lot more.

Chef Prodigies Culinary Club is leading the cooking lessons giving the kids an experience of being a chef.

The club offers a foundation for a lifelong healthy nutrition practice in a fun way.

“We just want to give the kids an experience of being in the kitchen as well as entertaining them. This also helps parents to do shopping, while their kids are enjoying fun activities,” Khethani Malange, the CEO of Chef Prodigies remarked.

“For just R100 your child can experience what it feels like to be in the kitchen and also be able to enjoy the end products, prepared by them,” Malange added.
The cooking activities were inspired by Moana’s island flavours, with the kids learning new skills and recipes.
