PEMPS learners start their Gr 1 journey

PEMPS Gr 1 learners began their school journey with an orientation day with a campus tour and the ceremonial ringing of the school bell.

POLOKWANE – Excitement filled the air as PEMPS Gr 1 learners reported for orientation day, marking the beginning of their educational journey.

They were taken on a tour of the school premises, helping them get familiar with their new environment before officially starting their new journey.

The day was an emotional one for everyone involved – parents, learners, and teachers – as the children stepped into a new chapter of their lives. Orientation days play a vital role in easing this transition by helping learners prepare for their first day of school and feel comfortable in their surroundings.

A highlight of the day was the ceremonial ringing of the school bell, a tradition that symbolises the start of the learners’ academic journey. “I’m happy that I’m going to make new friends and meet my new teacher,” shared an excited Onangwaho Madzivhandila.
