Eagle’s chess players at Mzansi championship

POLOKWANE – Eagle’s Nest Christian School would like to congratulate their passionate and dedicated chess enthusiasts Letlotlo Selepe (Gr 7) and Omphile Mathete (Gr 5) who participated in the Mzansi Inter-Provincial Chess Championship, representing Limpopo.

The prestigious event took place at The Ranch Resort from December 15-19, where eight provinces sent just over 1 000 chess players altogether.

“Congratulations on representing us. It is also my privilege to share that Omphile has been invited to attend the closed South African Junior Chess Championship later this year. We wish him all the best,” primary school principal Bertie de Lange said.
