Polokwane braces for high temperatures all week

Polokwane faces a hot week with temperatures above 30°C and a chance of thunderstorms towards the end of the week.

POLOKWANE – Polokwane residents should brace for a hot and sunny week ahead, with temperatures consistently exceeding 30°C.

Monday is set to be a hot day, reaching a high of 33°C while Tuesday conditions remain warm with clear skies, a maximum temperature of 31°C, and light winds.

Midweek brings sunny to partly cloudy weather on Wednesday with temperatures climbing to 32°C. Increasing cloud cover and a 41% chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon may provide some relief by Thursday. However, it will still be warm with a high of 30°C.

Friday sees a brief cloudy start before the sunshine returns. The temperature will peak at 30°C, and light winds offer a slightly breezier day.

As the weekend arrives, expect partly sunny and very warm conditions on Saturday with a maximum of 31°C.  Sunday rounds off the week with 33°C under mostly sunny skies and a few scattered clouds.

Evening temperatures are expected to range between 18°C and 20°C.
