Grandparents of missing toddler remanded in custody

The grandparents of missing two-year-old Omphile Sethole have been remanded in custody on child negligence charges.

LIMPOPO – The grandparents of missing two-year-old Omphile Sethole have been remanded in custody after appearing before the Mahwelereng Magistrate’s Court yesterday (May 18).

Nkgalakana Vinolia Mabusela (52) and Lesiba Jacob Ledwaba (55) were arrested by the Mokopane Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit on charges of alleged child negligence.

Bail application set for May 25

The court remanded the pair in custody until May 25, when they will apply for formal bail.
