March and March leaders arrive in Polokwane for planned march to Premier’s Office
The March and March movement arrives in Polokwane and is marching to the Premier's Office, despite claims the event was cancelled.
POLOKWANE – The March and March movement has arrived at SARS Park in Polokwane, preparing to march to the Premier’s Office to submit a memorandum of demands before proceeding to the Department of Home Affairs.
Movement leader Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma has arrived at the gathering, alongside Mogau wa Modimo, formerly the Limpopo coordinator for E-Chaile.

The march is proceeding despite earlier claims that the event had been cancelled. Ngobese-Zuma publicly rejected claims that the march had been called off, posting on X that the demonstration would proceed as scheduled.
The demands
The movement has consistently called for stricter enforcement of immigration laws, including the deportation of undocumented foreign nationals. Organisers have previously raised concerns about pressure on jobs, small businesses, and public services.
A formal memorandum is expected to be submitted to the Premier’s Office.
