POLOKWANE – Polokwane residents can expect a mixed bag of weather over the coming week, with a wet start giving way to milder, drier conditions by the weekend.

Showers and cooler temperatures to open the week

Monday, August 10, brings sunshine mixed with cloud, becoming breezy in the afternoon with a couple of showers expected. A maximum of 24°C is forecast, dropping to 9°C overnight, with 1.5 hours of rain expected.

Windy midweek before a calmer Thursday

Friday will be mostly cloudy with a little rain, reaching 18°C during the day and dropping to 4°C at night. Saturday follows a similar pattern, with a touch of rain in the morning before conditions turn mostly cloudy, and temperatures ranging between 17°C and 5°C.

Residents can look forward to plenty of sunshine from Sunday with a high of 23°C and a low of 7°C, and zero chance of rain. The dry, sunny conditions carry into next Monday, with temperatures climbing to 25°C.
