MEPS celebrates top academic achievers

Certificates were awarded by the principal, Sandy Pitsi as he congratulated them with a handshake and a smile.

POLOKWANE – Dedicated learners at MEPS have been celebrated in a grand ceremony recognising the top 3 achievers from Gr 1-12 in the assembly area last Wednesday.

Certificates were awarded by the principal, Sandy Pitsi as he congratulated them with a handshake and a smile. In addition to the top performers, special mentions were made for the top 10 achievers in each grade as well.

Pitsi told Review the event is a testament to the learners’ hard work, discipline and intellectual rigour.

“Our quarterly awards ceremony is more than just an event, it’s a celebration of the perseverance, passion and dedication of our learners.”

Top 3 achievers in Gr 12 with highest academic performers certificates, Matheba Tshebo, Moganedi Reabetswe and Malehu Lekota.

He added that the awards recognise learners’ individual and collective efforts, the collective efforts of parents and teachers, as well as reinforce their commitment to academic excellence.

Pitsi concluded that the ceremony serves as an opportunity for the school to motivate learners to strive for academic success, and promotes an environment of healthy competition, where learners are inspired to achieve their best.
