Eagle’s Nest Valentines Love Jesus Day

Learners at Eagle's Nest celebrated Valentine's Day with the focus on the love of Jesus for them in order to love and care for their neighbours.

POLOKWANE – With a ‘Love Jesus’ theme at Eagle’s Nest Christian School, learners and teachers celebrated Valentine’s Day last week in red, white, pink, blue, yellow and black.

Eagles Nest primary learners with their teacher Suza de Jong show symbols of love.

“On this day, the school focuses on the love of Jesus for us in order to love and care for our neighbours. We know that we are living in a world where suicide is prevalent, but this is a day on which we focus on uplifting and encouraging our learners, saying they were wonderfully and fearfully made in the image of God,” Eagles Nest primary school principal Bertie de Lange said.

De Lange explained that the school teaches learners to be kind and generous to each another, assist each another when others struggle and to have respect for each and every one around them.
