ERRATUM:
NOTICE OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT Notice is hereby given in terms of the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 (Act No. 107 of 1998) (NEMA) and the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations, 2014, as amended, of the intention to submit an application for environmental authorisation for the proposed development of Emeka Filling station on portion 28 of the farm Voerspoed 458 KS, within the Lepelle Nkumpi local municipality within the Capricorn District Municipality, Limpopo Province.
The proposed application will be submitted to the Limpopo Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism. (LEDET) and will be undertaken through the applicable Basic Assessment process.
APPLICANT: Emeka General Trading (Pty) Ltd.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The proposed establishment of a filling station will have underground storage tanks of (276m^3) 2 x 46 000 litres 50ppm of diesel, 2x 46 000 litres of 95 unleaded petrol and 2 x 46 000 litres of 93 leaded petrol all underground storage tank on an area measuring
500m^2 in extent.
EIA REGULATIONS:
The proposed development triggers the following:
*Activity 14 of Listing Notice 1 (GN R983 of 2014) – Petroleum products are classified as dangerous goods, 2 x 46 000 litres 50ppm of diesel, 2x 46 000 litres of 95 unleaded petrol and 2 x 46 000 litres of 93 leaded petrol with a combined capacity of
276 m^2.
PROJECT LOCATION: Portion 28 of the farm Voerspoed 458 KS in Lepelle Nkumpi Local Municipality within Capricorn District Municipality Limpopo Province with geographical coordinates:

29 27` 59.74` E
