The P&L Hardware Cycling Club in Louis Trichardt in conjunction with Kremetart Cycling, a Section 21 company, will this weekend host the 26th annual PPC Kremetart Race which stretches over a distance of 175 km road race on Saturday and a Mountain Bike XCO on Sunday. Thousands of cyclists are yet again expected to pitch for the race. Registration and number collection will take place tomorrow (Friday) from 10:00 to 20:00 at the Info Village next to the N1 in Louis Trichardt. The race briefing with Pro-teams and officials will commence at 17:30.
The big event will start at 06:40 for the first stage race to Waterpoort with the stage two to Vivo to start at 09:40. The race from Vivo to Schoemansdal will start at 12:30 with the last stage of the day to the finish line to start at 15:30.
Prize giving will be hosted in the main tent at 19:00.
For those who are looking for more of a challenge the Mountain Bike XCO will be hosted on Sunday at the Komatiland Forestry Hanglip.
Line entries for this event opens at 06:30 with the race to start at 08:00.
