Suites at the Peter Mokaba Stadium are selling fast and rugby enthusiasts need to hurry if they want to enjoy the warm-up Super Rugby match between the Vodacom Blue Bulls and Emirates Lions on 13 February from some of the top seats at the stadium.
“We only have a few suites left. Tickets are now on sale at the Blue Bulls office at the stadium and we believe it will sell quickly,” Limpopo Blue Bulls Office Manager Charles van Wyk informed.
Van Wyk said the excitement will already start on the Friday evening prior to the game when enthusiasts can be part of the gala dinner at Protea Hotel Ranch Resort.
Tickets to the event are for sale at R6 000 per table of nine seats. “The tenth seat is for one of the rugby players as guest at the table. This event always attracts a lot of rugby fans as it creates the perfect opportunity to mingle with some of the big names in the game,” Van Wyk said.
Saturday will feature a number of matches. BB Truck Noordelikes will take on the teams from Tshwane University of Technology while the Limpopo Blue Bulls office has high hopes for some sevens action as well. The main game will start at 17:00.
“There will also be entertainment for young and old with some local artists performing on stage. A beer tent and food stalls will also be available throughout the day and we would like to remind people not to bring any drinks or food into the stadium,” Van Wyk said.
Tickets cost R100 for the main pavilion and R80 for the eastern pavilion. A seat behind the goal posts costs R60 and learners pay only R30. Parking tickets are available at R20.
Schools who book 50 tickets or more behind the goal posts will get a R10 per ticket cashback. Individual learners will still pay R30.
“Polokwane Municipality, Blue Bulls Company and the Blue Bulls Rugby Union are putting in great effort to bring rugby closer to its fans. This is the perfect event to see both teams in action at a fraction of the price. We urge enthusiasts to support the event and to let both teams feel welcome in the City of Stars,” Van Wyk said.
Tickets are also available at www.computicket.com and at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
For more information on any of the events contact the Blue Bulls office on 015 291 4752 or Van Wyk on 082 738 6688.
