Tersia Goosen of local Firebirds Fencing Club said the team performed well and brought home seven medals.
“It was also an honour to see former Firebird fencer Jaycey Pinn in action as referee after he completed his examinations in December. It gives us pleasure to see local fencers excelling in the sport,” she said.
