Despite their 0-3 loss against the in-form Platinum Stars Football Club at Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Saturday, the Management of Polokwane City Football is adamant their team will emerge victorious against Golden Arrows on Saturday at the old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
City will rely on their influential Captain Jabulani Maluleka and the team leading goal scorer Thobani Mcwango to the business on the day.
Meanwhile, Arrows who are on the 11th position of the Premier Soccer League will also rely on some of their star players such as Mahlatse Makudubela, Trevor Mathiane and Kudakwashi Mahachi to win the match.
Spokesperson of the Club, Tumelo Makgoara said they have put behind their loss against Platinum Stars and their focus is to do well against Arrows. “It is always tough to play teams such as Platinum Stars especially in their backyard. They came out guns blazing and we were unable to contain them. After they scored two goals we lost the control of the match. However, we have dusted ourselves from the misery we are looking forward to a great match against Arrows,” Makgoara said.
He also mentioned they have welcomed back last season’s leading goal scorer Puleng Tlolane in team after a long injury. “He came on as a substitute against Platinum Stars on Saturday and he played well. We are happy that he has recovered well from his injury,” Makgoara said.
