Polokwane City Football Club ready for Ajax

Polokwane City Football Club will be hoping for maximum points against Ajax Cape Town when the two meet at Cape Town Stadium on 20 September in the third match of Premier Soccer League (PSL).
City will rely on their new recruits Rodney Ramagalela, Thabang Klaas and last season’s top goal scorer Thobani Mncwango to deliver on the day.
Spokesperson for the club, Tumelo Makgoara said they have prepared well for Ajax and they can’t afford to lose the match.
“We lost our first match of the PSL against Cape Town City Football Club and we can’t afford to lose again. We are working towards finishing in the top 8 bracket and for us to achieve that, we have to win every match,” Makgoara said.
He also confirmed that they have not yet appointed an assistant coach since the departure of Selaotse Mosala who joined the team last season from University of Pretoria.
“We haven’t appointed anyone outside the Club. Nkueni Mayala who has been with the team for a while will assist new coach, Luc Eymel,” Makgoara said.
