Zanis delivers 14 national champions

Zanis Gymnastics Academy gymnasts obtained 37 medals at the recent National Gym Games in Cape Town where they competed against nearly 800 top gymnasts from across the country. “Zanis returned with 14 South African champions and top performers in their respective disciplines. Artistic boy Liam Botha won seven out of seven medals, artistic girl Sanja Pretorius four medals, rhythmic girl Monene Anker five out of five medals and trampoline girl Leandré du Preez two medals,” Zanis Head Coach Zani Prinsloo said.
Liam’s fellow winners in the artistic boys’ category are Kyle Herz, Martin Botha, Sebastiaan Austin and Pieter Bronkhorst. In the artistic girls’ category Leandré and Cleo-Anne Manamela also claimed medals.
Ezri Hugo also won a medal in the rhythmic discipline while Martin Weweje top scored in trampoline.
