Match drawn as Limpopo, Free State cricket clubs clash

Cricket enthusiasts were treated to some hot action during a three day match between the senior provincial teams of Limpopo and Free State hosted by Limpopo Impala Cricket at the local cricket club on the weekend.
According to Limpopo Coach Israel Hlengani the three matches started on Friday until Sunday and ended in a draw.
He indicated that Limpopo batted first on Friday and made 255 runs all out in 87 overs. Free State only managed to get 163 runs before all of them were bowled out by the home team.
During the second innings on Saturday Limpopo score 217 runs for eight wickets taking the lead of 307 leaving the Free State with 308 runs in order to win the game.
Free State went into batting with the second innings and scored 258/9 leaving Limpopo then with one wicket to be crowned as winners but the match was called off due to bad lighting and it was decided that the game is drawn.
