Polokwane City not interested in league title

Despite their sparkling form in the Premier Soccer League (PSL), Polokwane City Football Club is not interested in winning the league title.
This according to club spokesperson Tincy Tema after their recent 2-0 win against Golden Arrows at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
The feat saw City moving from eight to sixth position of the league with 36 points. This season alone City has caused major upsets in the league defeating the likes of Kaizer Chiefs, Amazulu, Bloemfontein Celtic and strong title contenders Bidvest Wits.
“We are aware of our form in the league and we always credit players for that. However, we don’t want to think about the league now. I know that we have seven games to go but thinking about the league title will make the boys to lose focus and we don’t want that. It will be a bonus if we win it but we are not interested in it. We just want to finish the league in a commendable position,” Tema said.
