Thohoyandou to host MultiChoice Diski Shield

Thohoyandou stadium will host the second edition of the MultiChoice Diski Shield Cup on 30 and 31 March.
The Shield is an extension of the MultiChoice Diski Challenge and takes the shape of a cup competition while the Diski Challenge is contested in league format.
The cup will see 16 clubs in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge grouped into four groups and each group will consist of four clubs.
Local clubs Baroka Football Cub, Black Leopards and Polokwane City Football Club joined by Mamelodi Sundowns will make up Group C.
In the first round of the tournament clubs will play each other once and the one with the highest number of points at the end of the group stages will progress to the semi-finals.
