Well known karate and martial arts expert, Henri Eksteen recently received another honorary achievement by being appointed as the South African Executive Director of the International Global Karate and Martial Arts affiliate, World Tora Budo Kai.
According to Eksteen he will work hand in hand with the legendary affiliate to promote the beauty of martial arts with its founder and World President from the United Kingdom, Master Levin Alleyne.
He indicated that Alleyne was the longest student of the late great father of British karate, grandmaster Ronnie Colwell. “When he passed away the World Kobukan Federation (WKF) which was founded by Colwell in 1969 and of which I was the South African Director for over 10 years, split hence the formation of the World Tora Budo Kai with all the original members of WKF,” Eksteen said.
He added that the organisation would continue to teach the legacy of Colwell and that he was humbled to be able to continue with the honorary appointment.
