Baroka reappoints manager

Baroka Football Club reappointed seasoned football administrator Lawrence Okwara as the team Manager on Monday.
Okwara left the club in February 2018 after an alleged altercation with then chief executive officer Morgan Mammila.
The Nigerian born administrator had a short stint with National First side Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila and Black Leopards until his return to Bakgaga.
Newly appointed spokesperson and media officer of the club, Mogau Maredi said they are excited to have him back in the club. “We know his work. He is an experienced administrator and he worked at the club before. We believe his expertise will take the club to greater heights,”Maredi said.
He also added that they had prepared well for their match against Kaizer Chiefs Football Club scheduled for FNB Stadium on Saturday evening.
“We had a three week long Fifa break which gave us an opportunity to rectify some of our mistakes. We drew 1-1 in the first round of the league in August last year and we are ready to punish them. We are not in a good position of the league. We have been in the relegation zone for the better part of the season and will have to win matches in order to avoid relegation,” Maredi reminded.
