Former Black Leopards Football Club captain, Mongezi Bobe and assistant coach Sello Chokoe have re-joined the Premier Soccer League outfit as coaches of the Multi Choice Diski Challenge (MDC) team.
Bobe who spent five seasons at the club, was part of the Leopards team than played in the 2011 final of the Nedbank Cup.
Chokoe previously coached the National First Division outfit Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, Chippa United Football Club and Baroka Football Cub.
Bobe said he was happy to be back at the club and he was looking forward to assist the MDC team. “Leopards is my home, I spent most of my career here at the team so when I got the opportunity to come back and help with the MDC I could not refuse. Also I knew that one day when I retire I would want to venture into coaching so it is an opportunity for me to learn a lot of things about it.”
Club spokesperson, Barry Ramunenyiwa said the club was happy to have two mentors at the club.
“We are serious about our development programmes. We want to improve our participation in the MDC and we believe Chokoe and Bobe will help us in that regard,” he said.
