Twenty-four dancers affiliated to Nonnie de Lange Dance Studio were rewarded for their hard work and determination during the school’s 2018 prize giving ceremony in Ster Park last Thursday.
Dance instructor and studio owner, Nonnie de Lange indicated that they wanted to boost the dancers’ morale as they prepare for the South African Dance Teachers’ Association exams scheduled for June. She stated that she wanted all her students to do well during the exams and that they were only going to participate in competitions after the exams.
De Lange congratulated all the dancers for their achievements and encouraged them to continue working hard to become the best dancers in the future.

Sadie Jacobs – Best studio attire Jnr.
Monique Rosslee – Best studio attire Snr.
Chantelle Rosslee – Best improved modern dancing, Floating trophy for modern dancing.
Lee-Ann Boch – Best newcomer modern dancing.
Simoné Muller – Best newcomer tap dancing, Good improvement in tap dance.
Heather Oosthuizen – Best improvement (3 years)
Anja Smit – Constant good performance, Best stage personality (Snr), Best tap dancing, and Best group modern dancing (Jnr)
Mine Olivier – Most versatile dancer.
Monika Engelbrecht – Most versatile senior tap dancer.
Joshua Brebner – Best improved hip-hop dancer.
Carmelia Hermann – Best new comer hip-hop dancer.
Alicia Vermeulen – Best improved 3 year hip-hop dancer.
Hannetjie du Plessis – Best new comer technique.
Tenisha de Kock – Constant improvement in hip-hop (3 years)
Tessa Engelbrecht – Most versatile junior dancer.
Donne de Koker – Best attitude in hip-hop.
Mia de Kock – Funky energy.
Ane Mattews – Most versatile newcomer.
Kaylee Scott – Floating trophy for tap dance.
Kiara van Dyk – Modern dancing future star.
Karla Harzenberg – Constant improvement.
Alejandro Hermann – Floating trophy for hip-hop.
