Zanis gymnasts collects trophies at SA cup

Gymnasts of Zanis Gymnastics Academy performed well during the recent Trampoline South African Cup held in Pretoria by winning four trophies and ten podium finishes.
According to Zanis Manager Tanya Bouwman the cup is a prestigious event with only the top 10 gymnasts in each age category, based on the 2018 results, chosen to participate.
Sixteen of Zanis athletes made the grade. Leandré du Preez won trophies as best gymnast of the day in both the mini and Eurotramp categories. Trophies also went to Richelle Berry and Henk Meyer for mini tramp in their respective age categories.
The trophy winners also earned free entry to the North Zone Championships in July as well as the SA Gym Games in September.
Deandro du Preez and Clerize Berry placed second in their age categories and Danell Buitendag, Imaan Kika Bham and MJ Perold third podium places.
Ben Olivier, Amber Eligh Mills, Wihan van Eeden, Clarné de Lange, Junior Janse van Vuuren, Rodriques Dique and Bronti-Mae Cordewener also participted.
