One of the highlights among the many activities planned to mark Women’s Month this August is Mzansi Athletics Club’s annual Women’s Race set to take place at the Polokwane rugby fields between the two stadiums on 9 August.
Online registration is already open and athletes can visit www.bouttime.co.za to enter.
Those who wish to enter manually can do so at the venue from 16:00 to 19:00 on 8 August or early morning on race day from 04:50 to 05:50 as the 10 km and 21,1 km are planned to start at 06:00. The 5 km fun run will start at 06:15.
Entry fees are R120 for the 21,1 km, R80 for the 10 km and R40 for the 5 km respectively and temporary licences for the two big races are available at R30.
Prize money is up for grabs for category winners as well as the first three positions in the open category of the 21,1 km and 10 km.
Men are welcome to enter the race.
