‘Fairway’ to start the day for Polokwane golfers

99 players took to the greens when Polokwane Golf Club hosted their second big golf day of the year.

Polokwane Golf Club hosted their second big golf day of the year on Saturday, 13 January with a total of 99 players who showed up to compete in an individual stableford format.

Well-known locals as well as players from around the city showed their talent as they sent balls flying down the fairway.

Two-club players:

Belinda Schutte, Thabo Shingange, Charles Olivier, Attie Buitendag, Thys de Kock, Ray Mushaike, Morgan Mayos, Lukhanyiso Papu, Mash Makena, Daan Kampherbeek and Zack Chuenyane.

Results:

1. Christo van der Merwe with 41 points.

2. Japie van der Berg with 38 points.

3. Shaun Mouton with 37 points.
