Yin-Yan rewards its best

The Yin-Yan Karate and Self Defence Studio hosted a successful inter-club competition in December in Polokwane. The event coincided with the club’s year-end function to recognise the efforts of the karatekas.

Notable recipients included Itumeleng Boshmane who walked away with the junior karateka of the year award, Wickus Villoen (most disciplined karateka and best performance kumite award recipient), Sheza Abbas (most improved karateka), Samatha Viljoen (best performing karateka, u/13) and Ludrick Villoen (senior karateka of the year and best performance kata).

Congratulating the recipients, Sensei Annatjie de Jager said they showed what they were made of and progressed and excelled into real warriors.
