Double delight for hockey teams
After an epic hockey battle during the recent National Inter-Provincial Tournament in Potchefstroom the Limpopo u/13 boys - and girls team brought home a silver and a bronze medal.

MOKOPANE – The girls team had their name written all over the trophy in the final against the team of North West, but after a tough battle they missed gold with only one point.
Their coaches, Mpho Moretsele and Clarika Strydom are delighted with their team’s outstanding performance.
“The team excelled during the tournament and showed that Limpopo is a force to be reckoned with.”
The boys team under the mentorship of Kubiku Kubs Kozanai and Liezel Grobler scooped up a bronze medal.
“It wasn’t an easy tournament as we went head-to-head against the mighty team of Kwazulu-Natal and the Western Cape, but we represented the province proudly and brought home bronze,” Kozanai and Grobler said.
Strydom, who is also the Limpopo Primary Schools Hockey Provincial Chairman, attributed that she is very pleased and impressed with the quality of talented players as well as technical personnel that Limpopo has.
Limpopo is the only province that boasts with two teams in the top three rankings.
