Sun Meropa betterball challenge makes for loads of fun

POLOKWANE – Joe Mackay and Charles Mara were the winners of the Sun Meropa betterball challenge with 48 points each on Saturday at the Polokwane Golf Club.
Nola Pecuer and Lynn-Marié Combrink came in second place with 45 points on a count out.
Joe Alfonso and Charles Hardy came third with 45 points on a count out.
A total of 64 players came to compete in the challenge.
Sipho Talane received the prize for playing nearest to the pin at hole eight and Paul Grobler won the prize for playing nearest to the pin at hole 11.
The current jackpot stands at R1 780 of which R1 424 is payable, the jackpot draw was done by Luanie van Rooyen but no one won.
