POLOKWANE – Bradley Hartman (18), the SA talent champ needs financial assistance to compete in the international competition finals which is expected to take place in Orlando, Florida later this December.
After being crowned the South African Talent Champion (Satch) senior overall winner during the national finals in Pretoria last week – Bradley is now through to the Actors, Models and Talent for Christ (AMTC) international competition, where he will compete against other dancers from different countries.
This is the third time Bradley gets an opportunity to showcase his dance talent in the US. His first international competition was in 2012 when he was crowned the overall winner in his age group. The other one was in 2013 when he had another opportunity to take to the stage as the overall winner in his category.
Bradley said he could not enter the competition last year since he was busy polishing his new dance moves. “I am delighted to make it to the international finals again. I am more than ready for the competition and I am sure I will come home with a prize. This year I also entered the beauty pageant competition and I was surprised when I was called to collect the prize as the overall winner,” he explained.
Bradley received five gold medals, a trophy and two other medals for being in the top 10 in both dance and modelling categories. He competed in genres such as character, freestyle, open, hip hop and swimwear male solo and he ranked number one in all these categories. “My main goal is to share the talent that God gave me with the rest of the world. I want to travel the world and show people what I am capable of. Dancing is my life and I enjoy it more than anything,” he further said.
Anyone who is willing to assist can contact his father, Bernard, at 082 8421 978.
Bradley says he was inspired by Michael Jackson to take his dancing seriously. Read full story in today’s Review Midweek
