Golfing for a good cause
The Suikerbekkie Golf Day took place at the Polokwane Golf Club last Friday and a number of golfers showed up in support of the school. See the results here
POLOKWANE – The golf challenge served as a fundraiser for Suikerbekkie Kleuterskool and consisted of a four ball alliance, two scores to count in a scramble drive format.
Results of the day:
Johan Steynberg, Keith Badenhorst, Jan de Beer and Gerrie Venter in first place with a total of 118 points.
Thys de Kock, Barend Jacobsz, Liano Viviers and Phillip Klopper won second place with a total of 103 points
Walter du Plessis, Andries du Plessis, Gerhard Saaiman and Christo Saaiman in third place with a total of 102 points Wally Goosen, Patrick Cahill, Andrew Galloway and Theo Allison took fourth place with a total of 101 points.
Nearest to the pin on hole eight was Barend Jacobsz and on hole 11 Vlerk Muller. Longest drive on hole 18 was played by Freek van der Berg.
