The Limpopo Blue Bulls women’s team suffered a 57-19 defeat to Golden Lions

POLOKWANE – The Limpopo Blue Bulls women’s team suffered a 57-19 defeat to Golden Lions during a Currie Cup match, which was played at the Tom Naudé Technical School sport fields on Saturday.

This was the first game for the Bulls and the team looked a bit scared in the first half of the match. The Bulls scored the first try of the game, but failed to keep the opponents out of their half. The Lions attacked the Bulls strongly in the first half and managed to score one try and two conversions with the Bulls only managing one try and one conversion.

Ignatious Semenya, Limpopo Blue Bulls Women’s team coach, said they could have won the game, but players made a lot of mistakes which cost them the game.
