POLOKWANE – The launch of the Fame Charity Cup was held at Jembe Tavern on Wednesday.

Part of the Fame SA Awards, the charity cup will be played at the Peter Mokaba Sports Complex on 6 August.

The tournament will feature Kaizer Chiefs, Baroka FC, Magesi FC and Black Leopards, where Chiefs will face Magesi in the opening game, while Baroka will go against Leopards in the second match. The winners of each match will face off in the final.

Fame SA Awards, chairperson, Matodzi Makananisa, says the tournament aims to raise funds for charity and bursaries for students in need of financial support.
