Lim’s best with badminton racket

POLOKWANE -Altogether 77 players from Limpopo took part in the championship with the winners joining the Limpopo team to take part in the South African Badminton Championship later this year.

The winners of the championships are:

Men’s singles:

1. Frank Scheun (Mogol).

2. Jimmy Scheepers (Makhado).

Women’s singles:

1. Hannelize van der Westhuizen (Selati).

2. Zara Varghese (Capricorn).

Men’s doubles:

1. Qadar Nawaz and Muhammad Navees (Capricorn).

2. Frank Scheun and Adrian Buhrmann (Mogol).

Women’s doubles:

1. Annelia van Zyl and Petro Kruger (Mogol).

2. Zara Varghese and Divya George (Capricorn).

Mixed doubles:

1. Danie Joubert and Olga Joubert (Capricorn).

2. Frank Scheun and Ilze Buhrmann (Mogol).
