Small rugby players, huge action
On Saturday the Springboks will take on France at Loftus Versveld, but local rugby fans can enjoy a smaller version of Springbok rugby at Curro Heuwelkruin.
POLOKWANE – Heuwelkruin will be an ants nest of activity when the school hosts the third Vodacom Limpopo Bulletjie Rugby Day. Last year, 1 261 Bulletjies from 34 schools participated and organisers believe this numbers will increase this year.
Teams from three age groups, u/6, u/7 and u/8 will show of their rugby talent on Saturday. Food stalls will be available to keep the supports and players’ tummies full. Craig Adams, Curro Heuwelkruin, Sports Organiser – Primary School would like to to thank Vodacom and AFGRI for their loyal support.
“For the third year Heuwelkruin is hosting the Vodacom Limpopo Bulletjie Day. This promises to be an uplifting experience for all involved, especially our Bulletjies. We encourage all our Bulletjies and their supporters to bring along loads of energy and enthusiasm for this fun filled day.”
Gates open at 06:45 and the games will kick-off at 08:00 and end around 15:00.
