Black Leopards coach resigns

Black Leopards coach, Jean Francois Lusciuto, resigned as the team coach after the NFD Promotional Play off match against Baroka at Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday.

LIMPOPO – The coach took over from Sello Chokoe when he was appointed as the team coach in November last year for a three-year contract. The club’s chairperson, David Thidiela, confirmed Lusciuto’s sudden resignation.

According to Thidiela, the coach requested a meeting with him, during which he announced that he is resigning as the coach.

Thidiela laments the coach’s decision, adding that it is not easy for the club to part ways with the team mentor,”

“He was a close member of the Leopards family and we wish him well in his future endeavours,” said Thidiela.

Jean Francois Lusciuto confirmed his departure from the club saying he parted ways with Black Leopards peacefully. He said he would be in the country for some days before flying to his native country.

When asked whether he was ready to take a job offer from a local club, he said that he wanted to take a break for some months to decide on his future.
