Free entrance for Polokwane FC fans this weekend

Entrance to the team's last Absa Premiership match, this Saturday, at the old Peter Mokaba Stadium will be free for the first 10 000 fans.

POLOKWANE- Review spoke to Vusi Ntimane, spokesperson for Polokwane City who said because the   stadium can only handle a capacity of 10 000 people, every person that enters will be counted and when the 10 000 mark is reached, gates will be closed and no more spectators will be allowed to enter the stadium.

“We are giving free entrance to fans in a bid to thank them for their continuous support, we appreciate every single fan and hope that everyone will enjoy the game and that in the festive spirit that Polokwane City will score the winning goal to bring everything to a perfect end,” he said.

Ntimane added that there will be tight security and a that a no-tolerance policy will be implemented and should anyone cause a disturbance or break the rules, they will be  removed immediately from the stadium and will not be allowed back in.

“We have over 120 security personnel on standby as well 25 police officers that would arrest any fan that steps out of line. This is of utmost importance to us and we take it very seriously to ensure everyone’s safety, we will not tolerate any mischievous troublemakers.”

Gates will open at 12:00 and the game will start at 15:00.

“We want the fans to come and be festive and enjoy the a relaxing Saturday with their fellow fans cheering on Polokwane City” Ntimane concluded.
