Met ‘n liefde vir afstandbeheerde motors vertel Kobus Kotze dit is beslis nie ‘n stokperdjie waarin net kinders belangstel nie.

POLOKWANE – “Om radiobeheerde motors te ry is ‘n baie lekker sportsoort en verg baie konsentrasie en vernuf om die verskeie hindernisse op die renbaan te troef,” vertel hy.

Een van die renjaers, Gareth Lambert, het tydens ‘n onlangse wedren gewys wat hy alles op die baan met sy groen radiobeheerde motors kan doen. “Dit is ‘n vreeslike interessante sport en is altyd pret. As die gogga jou eers gebyt het los hy nie sommer nie,” lag Francois Wood.

Kobus verduidelik dat die Bushveld Model Racing Club die gasheer vir vanjaar se nasionale kampioenskap op 19 en 20 Mei gaan wees.
