LIMPOPO – Most teams have thus far played 11 games in this season’s Absa Premiership and Kaizer Chiefs are leading the pack. The three Limpopo teams are hot on each other’s tracks and sit close to each other on the log. Polokwane City are currently in 10th place with 13 points, followed by Black Leopards (with a game in hand) and Baroka FC on 12 points.

Leopards recorded a 2-1 victory against Cape Town City over the weekend at the Thohoyandou Stadium. The Limpopo-derby against Rise and Shine and Baroka was played at The Peter Mokaba Stadium and the ‘visitors’ walked away with the three points with their 1-0 victory.

Rise and Shine parted ways with manager, Zlatko Krmpotic on 8 November and were managed by coach, Bernard Molekwa for the derby. Reports suggests that the front-runner for the hot seat is former AmaZulu head coach, Cavin Johnson. Only time will tell.

There is no PSL action this weekend but the action returns on 26 November.
