Major sports events to (hopefully) look forward to in 2022

Review gives you a rundown of what to look forward to on the sporting calendar in 2022:

POLOKWANE – The sporting calendar was once again heavily disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021 and, as a result, some major tournaments were postponed to 2022.

These tournaments, as well as other tournaments and big sports events that were already planned for 2022, means that, if everything goes well, there is a lot of sporting action to look forward to this year.

Some of the highlights include the Winter Olympics in Beijing, the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 in England and the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. New Zealand is also set to host two world cups, the women’s Rugby World Cup and the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, while England will host the Rugby League World Cup.
