Generations actors visit Polokwane

The SABC1 soap opera, Generations is celebrating its 20th anniversary, eight cast members visited Savannah Mall

The SABC1 soap opera, Generations is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and to show their appreciation to Polokwane residents, eight cast members visited Savannah Mall on Saturday, where they signed autographs and posed for photos with fans.

The visit formed part of a road show, with Polokwane as first stop.

The Generations stars that visited the city were, Sophie Ndaba (Queen Moroka), Menzi Ngubane (Sibusiso Dlomo), Zolisa Xaluva (Jason Dlomo), Zenande Mfenyana (Noluntu Memela), Slindile Nodangala (Ruby Dikobe), Mandla Gaduka (Choppa Maithufi), Luthuli Dlamini (Scott Nomvete) and Sindi Buthelezi (Zinhle).

Generations is a South African soap opera which first aired in 1993 on SABC.

It was created and produced by Mfundi Vundla. The popular soap opera has been rated as the most viewed soapie on South African television throughout its run.

The latest figures showed that more than 4,9 million people watch Generations daily.
