This year’s Cansa Relay For Life will be held at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Friday, October 11, and Cansa urges residents to please adhere to the following points.

Residents are encouraged to bring a positive attitude, lots of energy, family and friends, a gazebo or tent, a table, chairs, warm clothes and blankets, umbrellas and raincoats, supplies for on-site money raising campaigns, lots of cash for food, drinks, pancakes and wimpy coffee as well as a camera.

The following items will not be allowed in the stadium: alcohol, weapens and tobacco. If you insist on smoking bring lots of R2 coins for “sin-tax”. No pets will be allowed either.

Sites can be set up from Thursday, October 10 from 14:00. The site must be finished by 13:00 on Friday, October 11. There will no vehicles be allowed on the track.

Make sure you collect your Luminaria bags and wrist bands from Janie Wierenga at the Theunis Fichardt Hospi-tium in College Street before Thursday, October 10.
